Carla Stein Wertheimer has been an artist her entire life and has a true admiration and appreciation for color, form, and texture, especially in nature. Her passion is reusing items that others cast away, incorporating special treasures into her art. Every piece is hand cut and includes vintage china, broken pottery, reflective glass, and unique beads.
Carla loves exploring the forests of Georgia and Florida and finds her inspiration along the beaches of the Gulf coast. Flowers, birds and coastal life are often the subjects of her designs. Mosaics is her way of recycling and reinventing, respecting our earth, and bringing joy and whimsy to homes and gardens for people of all ages.
